Senior Portraits - Class of 2011 - David V

Today I had the opportunity to shoot David V's Senior Portraits.

David and my daughter have been friends for years. It's pretty cool to see him ready to begin his Senior year when I can remember the day the kids graduated from the 8th grade so clearly. Where has the time gone?  Thanks for letting me take your portraits, David!

I had the opportunity to take Brittney and Sal's engagement photos the other day. It was so much fun. They brought their little boy, Alex, and we included him as well.

York Family Annual Portraits

Welcome to the annual York Family photos....... My daughter and I shot them at the same time. Good idea in theory, but everyone ends up looking in a different direction. Hayden, however, always has eyes for Mom.

Hayden is coming to get me....... he kept burying my head in leaves. Silly boy. I love the point when the kids get comfortable and then they get a little wild. I'll show more of that in my next post.

Stoy Family Photos- Two Individual Shots

I took the Stoy family photos yesterday. I'm still working on the edits, but so far I have a couple of the individual shots ready. I took these in Bidwell Park, at a time when the park was packed with Mother's Day parties - people grilling all around us. Didn't matter, we found a free tree and got to work.

I've been busy with so many writing projects lately that I've not been taking as many photos. I took these with Bay a couple of weeks ago. Just goofing around. I wish that I was at the park right now.

York Family Portraits - Part One

I recently had the honor of taking family portraits for the lovely York family. I took a lot of photos - this is the first batch. Mom, Shawna, was looking for something with both a Fall and a Christmas feel, so we went for both.

We took the photos in the family's backyard, so the kids were really at ease, especially when they started playing in the leaves.
