I recently had the honor of taking family portraits for the lovely York family. I took a lot of photos - this is the first batch. Mom, Shawna, was looking for something with both a Fall and a Christmas feel, so we went for both.
We took the photos in the family's backyard, so the kids were really at ease, especially when they started playing in the leaves.
It was so much fun! Thank you, Yorks!

Sepia Summer Portraits
These are a few of the portraits that I took this Summer. With the exception of the creek shot, these were all taken while just hanging out casually in the yard.
I love any and all shots taken at the creek, because everyone is so relaxed there and it is a beautiful setting.
Casey being silly. Look at those freckles.
